The Family Place empowers victims of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence. They have a 24 hour hotline and three different emergency shelters, including the state’s only shelter for men and children, providing safety, counseling and emergency assistance. The services include Crisis counseling for adults and children, Medical and dental care ,Early childhood education, K-2 school and after-school and summer programs for children, Job, technical and life skills training for adults and Animal shelter for dogs and cats.
