The Dallas Office of Emergency Management’s (OEM)  mission is to provide a resilient emergency management structure dedicated to public safety and welfare through preservation of life, health, property, and the environment. The OEM works before, during, and after emergencies to minimize impacts on the community. We operate in conjunction with other government agencies, the private sector, and community stakeholders to advocate for preparedness, prevention, response, recovery, and mitigation.
